India Phillips is an accomplished art professional with extensive experience in the auction house sector. Currently serving as Managing Director for both EMEA and the U.K. at Bonhams since April 2014, India also holds the title of Global Head of Impressionist & Modern Art. Prior to Bonhams, India worked at Sotheby's as Deputy Director and Specialist from July 2013 to April 2014, and at Christie's in various roles including Associate Director and Junior Specialist from January 2008 to June 2013. Earlier experience includes internships at the Musée d'Orsay and the Guggenheim Museum. India holds a Master of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2006.
