May Matthews

May Matthews serves as Managing Director for Scotland and Head of the Scottish Art Department at Bonhams since June 2017, also holding the title of Specialist in Scottish Art. Prior to this role, May Matthews operated as an Art Dealer at May Matthews Fine Art from July 2009 to June 2017 and gained experience at Bonhams from November 2003 to July 2009 in various positions, including Specialist and Cataloguer for Pictures. Academic credentials include an MA (Hons) in Archaeology from The University of Edinburgh and A levels in Geology, History, and English Literature from Worthing Sixth Form College, complemented by 9 GCSEs (all A's/A*'s) from King's Manor School.
