Barbara Rooimans

Barbara Rooimans has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Teacher of English and student counsellor at Bonhoeffercollege since August 2018. Prior to this role, Barbara held teaching and counselling positions at Kaj Munk College from December 2005 to July 2018, as well as at Rientjes Mavo and t Atrium in earlier years. Barbara earned a Master’s degree in English Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam and holds several additional qualifications, including a Certificate in Mediawijsheid and a first-degree teaching qualification from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Further educational pursuits include a BA in English & Education from the University of Wolverhampton and a second-degree qualification from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Recent professional development includes an online program in career guidance and a psychology course focused on student choice.
