Walt Sorensen

Walt Sorensen is an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently employed at Bonnell Aluminum since April 2021, Walt develops portable CMM arm inspection programs and material properties destructive testing methods, while also planning Design of Experiments (DoE) for aluminum extrusion production improvements. Prior to this role, Walt worked at ICSA - Foxconn from April 2020 to April 2021, where responsibilities included conducting internal audits, coordinating documented information, managing on-site verification test fixtures for nonconforming material validation, and overseeing material review board items. Walt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and an Associate of Pre-Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Salt Lake Community College.
