Program Coordinator, Business For Water Stewardship at Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF)

Tyler Smith currently serves as the Business for Water Stewardship Program Coordinator at Bonneville Environmental Foundation, a position held since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Water Resource Agent at the Idaho Department of Water Resources, where responsibilities involved analyzing water right leases and processing temporary water approvals, along with earlier experience as a Water Resource Agent in the Western Region. Additional roles include a Packaging Technician and Tour Guide at White Labs Inc., Field Technician at Alpha Environmental, and Harvest Worker at Drumsara Wines Ltd. Tyler's experience also encompasses laboratory work at the Igneous Petrology Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an internship with MountainTrue focused on environmental conservation efforts. Currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation from Oregon State University, Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
