Daniel Avery

Daniel Avery currently serves as the Technology Transfer Manager at the Bonneville Power Administration since September 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Oregon Department of Energy, where work focused on renewable energy, biomass, and natural gas from June 2016 to October 2019. Daniel's extensive background also encompasses positions as the Coastal Conservation Plan Coordinator for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (2008-2016), GIS Coordinator for the US Fish and Wildlife Service (2000-2005), and Habitat Biologist for NOAA (1992-2000). Daniel began a career as a Biological Scientist at Cell Systems Inc. (1990-1992). Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University (2013-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Texas A&M University (1985-1988).
