Mikkel Andreas Vig Hjarnaa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mikkel is currently serving as the Lead Analytics Specialist at Bonnier Publications A/S since January 2023. Before their tenure at If Insurance, Mikkel worked as a Student Assistant - Online Marketing at Topdanmark - Forsikring og pension, Denmark's second-largest insurance company. Mikkel was responsible for reporting and analyzing web data KPIs using Google Analytics API V3 to Excel. Additionally, they implemented a dashboard solution for the car claims department. Mikkel held this position from November 2014 to January 2016.
Furthermore, Mikkel has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Co-owner of SuitZoo, a webshop they established during their undergraduate studies. The webshop was tailor-made and ranked highly on relevant Google search terms due to extensive SEO work.
Mikkel also has experience outside the digital field, having worked as a Ski Instructor at Schneesport Akademie Ischgl from December 2009 to March 2011, and as a Part-Time Sales Assistant at Husky Energy from November 2008 to May 2009.
Mikkel Andreas Vig Hjarnaa completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics from Roskilde University, from 2010 to 2013. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued a cand.merc.it degree at Copenhagen Business School. Additionally, Mikkel has obtained certifications in Google Analytics and completed the If leadership programme for new leaders offered by MiL Institute in 2018. Mikkel is also pursuing a certification in Google Analytics 4, expected to be obtained in 2023.
