Michael Riha

Michael Riha has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Currently, they are the Technical Director at Bonrepublic, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Head of Product (transitional) at VIEWAR from May 2022 to November 2022. In 2020, they took a Professional Development Leave / Sabbatical at yelster digital gmbh, where they completed the Certified Innovation Manager program. michael also worked as the Head of Research and Development at yelster digital gmbh from August 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining yelster digital gmbh, Michael worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Bitmovin from October 2018 to June 2020. From December 2009 to November 2019, they were a Managing Partner at beyond the static Gmbh, where they specialized in campaign conception, brand development, and strategy consulting. michael also held various roles at ProSiebenSat.1 PULS 4 GmbH, including Digital Product Development Lead, Senior Product Strategist, and Digital Innovation Consultant from July 2015 to September 2018.

Michael has also worked as a self-employed Software Engineering Consultant from June 2007 to December 2009. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Software Architect at Volume Media Verlags GmbH from June 2006 to May 2007, and as a Project Lead Developer at relopia.com from November 2005 to May 2006. michael started their career as a Digital Creative Director at iktoo Werbegmbh from November 2004 to November 2005.
