Chris Cornelis

Chris Cornelis is an experienced iOS Engineer with a diverse background in app development and engineering. Currently serving as an iOS Engineer at bonsai since September 2023, Chris focuses on enhancing features for finance monitoring and payment integrations at music festivals. As the Founder and Developer at Galarina since October 2008, Chris managed the successful app GeoTagr, a popular geotagging solution on the App Store. Previous roles include building the Athena app for voice delegation at Athena Executive Assistants, enhancing Smappee's home energy monitoring apps, and expanding Thumbtack’s consumer and pro apps. Chris also contributed as a mobile prototyper at Sqor Sports and developed the Hale app at Hale Health, showcasing a solid foundation in iOS engineering since earning an Engineer's degree in Computer Science & Telecommunication from Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1986 to 1991.
