Ben Gatten

Ben Gatten is a Senior SLAM Engineer at Bonsai Robotics since February 2025, previously holding the position of Technical SLAM Lead at Monarch Tractor from February 2020 to November 2024, where Gatten also served as a Perception Engineer and Perception Engineer Intern. Experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Davis, from June 2018 to June 2020, and as a Graduate Student Researcher during the same period. Gatten's earlier background includes tutoring at Las Positas College from August 2013 to June 2016 in subjects such as Mechanical Physics and Calculus. Gatten earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, in June 2020, following a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the same institution in June 2018.
