Guilherme de Moura Araujo

Guilherme De Moura Araujo is a Senior Robotics Software Engineer currently at Bonsai Robotics since July 2025, following an acquisition of farm-ng. Previously, Guilherme held the same title at farm-ng from July 2023 to August 2025, where responsibilities included driving system architecture decisions and performance tuning across robotic subsystems. From September 2018 to July 2023, Guilherme served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on off-road vehicle safety and the impact of robotics in agriculture. Additional roles at UC Davis involved teaching assistance in engineering design and research assistance in developing software for experimental design and data analysis. Guilherme holds a PhD in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of California, Davis and a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
