Bill Bonstra, FAIA, LEED AP has a long and distinguished career in architecture. Bill began their career in 1983 as a Project Architect at Shalom Baranes Associates. In 1988, they moved to SmithGroup (formerly Keyes Condon and Florance) as a Senior Project Architect. In 1992, they joined Hickok Cole Architects (formerly Hickok Warner) as a Senior Project Architect. In 1999, Bill founded and became Managing Partner of Bonstra Haresign Architects LLP. Since 2010, they have been a Senior Visiting Critic - MARCH, Real Estate Concentration at The Catholic University of America School of Architecture, where they lead an architecture design studio for Professor Judith Meany, PhD, in the Real Estate Development Concentration of the Masters of Architecture program. In this role, they bring real life projects to the architecture curriculum with project sites involving practical building programs involving current architectural design and development issues.

Bill Bonstra, FAIA, LEED AP, received their BARCH with honors from the University of Maryland in 1983, where they studied Architecture and Urban Design.
