Philip Abbott - Garner

Philip Abbott-Garner is an experienced test engineer currently working at Tools for Schools, the makers of Book Creator, since November 2016. Previously, Philip held positions as a QA Analyst at Flybe, where responsibilities included the creation of test strategies and management of the testing lifecycle. As a PhD researcher at Plymouth University, Philip managed a three-year research project funded by BT and the EU, investigating the effects of superfast broadband in rural Cornwall. Earlier roles included test analyst at 4th Screen Advertising, working with Agile methodology, and QA tester/analyst at Debenhams, contributing to application testing for web and enterprise software. Philip holds a Doctor of Philosophy in E-Health and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Plymouth.
