Emma Hjalmarsson has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Emma started their career as an Accountant at NEW YORKER in 2013. Emma then worked at EY, first as an Audit Associate from August 2014 to July 2016, and later as a Senior Auditor from August 2016 to June 2017. Emma then joined IKEA Group as a Business Controller in June 2017 and held this role until November 2019. Currently, they are working as a Senior Financial Controller at BookBeat, starting from November 2019.
Emma Hjalmarsson completed a Master of Science (MS) in Business and Administration with a specialization in Financial Accounting from Lund University. Emma attended Lund University from 2009 to 2014. In 2011, they also briefly attended North Carolina State University, where they focused on Public Relations and Marketing. However, they did not obtain a degree during their time at North Carolina State University.
