Washington Academy, we prepare our scholars for college and beyond through a mission inspired by Booker T. Washington’s credo: "Excellence is doing common things in uncommon ways." We are educators and staff committed to providing a safe, nurturing and challenging learning environment with the aim of producing responsible and productive citizens prepared to successfully compete in the global marketplace. To deliver on that promise, we employ a variety of approaches, including: - a rigorous and challenging curriculum geared towards developing strong readers, writers, and problem solvers. - a low teacher-student ratio of 1:10, with classes not exceeding 22 scholars. - an actively engaged PTO and supportive community of partnering organizations. At BTWA, we want your child to not only succeed, but exceed ALL boundaries and expectations. Join us and see what's possible!
