Timo Hirvisalo

Timo Hirvisalo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Timo began their career in 2012 as a Military Police officer in the Finnish Defence Forces. In 2013, they transitioned to the field of golf and worked as a Golf Instructor and later as a Golf Professional at Santa Claus Golf.

In 2014, Timo joined Asuntohotelli Kaivo Oy, where they worked as an Accountant until 2019. Timo then moved on to OTC-Sijoitus Oy in 2016, where their role involved purchasing shares of Finnish telephone companies through negotiations with shareholders.

In 2018, Timo joined KPMG Finland as an Audit Trainee and later became an Audit Associate. In this position, they conducted audits for various companies, from SMEs to listed companies, evaluating processes and proposing improvements to internal controls. Timo also audited projects funded by Business Finland.

In 2020, Timo joined Energiavirasto (Energy Authority) as an Accounting Adviser, focusing on network-related matters until 2021. Currently, they are working at Bookers Group as a Sales Manager, where they lead a team at Grenkeleasing Oy.

With their experience in finance, auditing, sales, and management, Timo has developed a range of skills and knowledge across different industries, making him a versatile professional.

Timo Hirvisalo began their education journey in 2011 by obtaining a 1-level Golf Instructor certification from the Finnish Golf Union. Timo further pursued their passion for golf coaching in 2014-2015 and obtained a 2-level Golf Instructor certification from the Finnish Golf Union. In 2013, Timo enrolled in Oulu Business School at the University of Oulu and completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2017. Timo continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting between 2017 and 2019.

Alongside their academic pursuits, Timo Hirvisalo also expanded their knowledge through additional certifications. Timo completed the "Titleist Performance Institute Certified 1-Level" program offered by the Titleist Performance Institute in January 2017. In March 2020, they obtained the "Power BI Essential Training" certificate from LinkedIn. Additionally, Timo obtained an English language certificate from the University of Oulu - TOPIK in May 2015.
