Andrei Suvac

Andrei Suvac is an accomplished Database Engineer and Data Engineer currently employed at Booking Holdings since March 2024, where responsibilities include implementing data migration pipelines from Hadoop to Snowflake and providing tech support for various business teams. Prior experience includes a tenure at Skywind Group from June 2023 to February 2024, focusing on designing data ingestion processes and creating ETL scripts for real-time data analysis. Andrei also worked at IBM from June 2022 to May 2023, developing data pipelines on AWS and Google Cloud Platform, and has experience as a Data Science Intern and Data Engineer Intern, contributing to various data projects and learning essential skills in SQL, Python, and Azure Data Factory. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Database Systems Administration from UPB, and an Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
