David Mette, CPA

David Mette, CPA has a wealth of experience in the finance and accounting industry. David began their career in 2009 as a Lead Biomedical Engineer Intern at NASA, where they designed a sharps container for the International Space Station Medical Kits. In 2011, they took on the role of Mechanical Design Engineer at The Ohio State University, where they designed a novel plating system for the cervical spine. In 2014, they joined EY as an Experienced Assurance Associate, performing consulting services for both public and private clients to ensure reasonable assurance regarding financial information. In 2015, they became the General Manager at OrderUp, a Groupon co. (acquired by GrubHub), where they led all facets of the regional OrderUp business including sales, marketing, and operations. In 2017, they took on the role of Product Manager at Procter & Gamble. From 2018 to 2021, they held multiple roles at Kroger Technology, including Senior Manager of Product Management - Finance and Accounting, Senior Product Manager - Customer Strategy, and Product Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined bookkeep.com\u2122 as Director of Product and in 2022 they became a Member at Micromerch.

David Mette, CPA obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from The University of Toledo in 2010. David then pursued a Medical Degree Candidate at The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. David also obtained a CPA certification from the Accountancy Board Of Ohio.
