Angela DeCaires has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Angela started their career as a Newsroom Assistant at WUHF-TV in 2002 and was promoted to Newsroom Assistant in 2003. In 2004, they joined 13WHAM-TV as a Producer, where they worked on various news shows and was responsible for the overall look of the broadcast. Angela also filled in as an Executive Producer when needed.

In 2008, Angela held multiple positions in different organizations. Angela worked as a Freelance Producer at DME Studios, a Marketing and Public Relations Assistant at Halifax Medical Center, and a Public Relations Coordinator at Unity Health System.

Following this, Angela joined BookLogix in 2011 and held multiple roles. Angela started as the Marketing & Communications Manager and later became the Publishing Director. As the Publishing Director, they led various departments involved in BookLogix's publishing process and advised authors on publishing options and best practices. Angela is also a public speaker on topics related to book publishing. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of CEO at BookLogix.

In 2014, Angela took on the role of Event Manager - Publish15 at ATLPubCon, where they coordinated logistics for Georgia's annual publishing convention and ensured the event's success.

Angela DeCaires completed their high school education at Victor Senior High School from 1995 to 1999. Angela then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism at St. John Fisher University from 1999 to 2003.
