Brittanie Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Brittanie founded and served as the Executive Director of Art and Abolition in 2014, which focuses on using art therapy to rehabilitate child trafficking survivors. Recently, in 2022, they worked as a Literacy Teacher at BookNook and an English Tutor at NEW GENERATION ACADEMY.
In 2021, Brittanie worked as an ESOL Instructor at Cambly Inc., where they taught English to non-native speakers. Brittanie also worked as a Performing Arts Teacher at Woodland Star International School Kenya in 2022, where they substituted for regular teachers, taught performing arts, and directed plays.
Brittanie has significant experience in online teaching as well. Brittanie worked as an English Teacher at VIPKid from 2019 to 2022 and at GoGoKid from 2019 to 2021. Moreover, they worked as a House Manager at Justice Rising International from 2012 to 2013 and served as the Director of Children's Program at the Salvation Army Red Shield Family Residence Homeless Shelter from 2006 to 2009.
Brittanie Richardson obtained a 120 hours TESOL Certificate Course from the International Open Academy in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Acting from The University of the Arts, which they completed between 2005 and 2009.
