Dominika Gyányi

Head of Education at BOOKR Kids

Dominika Gyányi has a diverse range of work experience across various companies and roles. Dominika started their career in 2016 as a Therapy Coordinator at Inspire Foundation, where they organized programs for children with special needs and led therapeutic craft and art sessions. Dominika then worked as a Special Education Assistant at Dobbantó Fejlesztőház in 2017.

In the same year, they also worked as an ESL Teacher and Intercultural Educator at a Foreign Languages School. Dominika then joined SzexEd in 2018, serving as a Trainer and later as a Board Member. SzexEd is a non-profit organization that provides reproductive health education to students and professionals, promoting safe and inclusive conversations about sexuality and gender.

From 2018 to 2020, Dominika worked at BOOKR Kids as an Education Specialist and later as an Educational Content Coordinator. In 2021, they were promoted to Head of Education at the same company. BOOKR Kids focuses on educational content for children.

In 2020, Dominika became a Research Fellow at Károli Gáspár University, where they contributed to the Four-Tree projective drawing test by creating coding criteria and analyzing adolescents' drawings. Dominika also conducted testing for children affected by long-COVID syndrome.

In 2021, they joined The Future Belongs to the Readers Foundation as a Digital Library Consultant. Currently, in 2022, they are working as a Psychologist at Budai Gyermekkórház - Children's Hospital Diabetes Department.
