Dorka Horváth, PhD has had a diverse range of work experiences. Dorka is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of BOOKR Kids, a reading-based edutainment tool designed to improve language skills in children. Prior to this role, they worked as a Lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest and as a Marketing Manager at Geopen Publishing Ltd. Dorka also served as a Columnist for Vasárnap Hírek and was a Long term trainee of MEP at the European Parliament, where they closely followed the work of various committees and prepared documents for Members of the Parliament. Starting in 2022, they became a Female EdTech Fellow in Europe.
Dorka Horváth, PhD pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2005 to 2011, they attended Corvinus University of Budapest, where they obtained a Master of Economics degree with a specialization in Corporate Finance. In 2008 and 2009, they also studied at Technische Universität Berlin, although no specific degree was mentioned. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they returned to Corvinus University of Budapest, this time focusing on New Media Studies and earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
