Sheryl Place

Sheryl Place is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on language instruction and educational technology. Currently serving as the Head of Customer Success for the US Market at BookWidgets since January 2022, Sheryl is responsible for US Educational Technology Support Services and E-learning initiatives. As an Independent Consultant for Golden Key Access since June 2015, Sheryl provides virtual English language tutoring. Previous experience includes roles as an Edmodo Certified Trainer and Support Ambassador from 2013 to 2022, and a long tenure at Miami-Dade County Public Schools where Sheryl held multiple positions including Digital Convergence Facilitator and Department Chair for Bilingual and World Languages. Sheryl's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Miami and a Bachelor’s degree in French Language Teacher Education from Michigan State University.
