Laura Torres currently serves as a Researcher at Centro de Estudios de África y Asia since June 2023. In addition, Laura is an Ordinary Member, Community Manager, and Research Assistant at Asociación Venezolana de Estudios sobre China - AVECH since March 2019. Previous teaching experience includes a role as an English Teacher at Academia AngloAmericana from August 2015 to May 2017, where Laura taught English as a Second Language to various age groups. Laura holds a BA in Modern Languages with a focus on International Organizations from Universidad de los Andes (VE), completed in 2018, and participated in an exchange program in Political Science at University of Hradec Králové from 2017 to 2018.
