Aadith Moorthy

Founder & CEO at Boomitra

Aadith Moorthy is the founder and CEO of Boomitra, a company that specializes in optimizing the hydrogen adsorption capabilities of functionalized graphene for efficient hydrogen storage. Prior to starting Boomitra, Aadith worked as a researcher at Caltech, where their research focused on optimizing the hydrogen uptake of metal alloys through quasi-elastic neutron scattering and in situ X-ray diffraction. Aadith also has experience working with vacuum technology for novel applications and environments, as well as research on Molten Salt Thermal Energy Storage and the Molten Salt/Liquid Metal Battery.

Aadith Moorthy attended Stanford University for both their PhD and MS in Materials Science and Engineering. Aadith also attended the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program at Stanford University. Aadith completed their undergraduate studies at Caltech, where they earned a BS in Computer Science and a B.S. in Materials Science. Prior to attending Caltech, they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at an IB school.
