Bill VerSteeg

Bill VerSteeg is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Bill has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field. Bill started their career at McDonnell Douglas in 1983 as an engineer. Bill then moved to Digital Communications Associates, Inc. in 1986 as a software engineer. In 1989, they started their own company, VerSteeg CodeWorks, where they worked as an engineering consultant until 2005. From 2006 to 2015, they worked as a distinguished engineer at Cisco, where they were responsible for the design of digital video systems. In 2015, they joined Boomtown Accelerators as an advisor.

Bill VerSteeg has a BSEE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Bill also has certification from Coursera in The Law and Economics of Media Companies and Software Defined Networking.
