Coleman Oglesbee is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Coleman has over fifteen years of experience in the corporate world, working with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Coleman started their career as a design engineer with Enrev. Coleman then moved to Ericsson, where they worked as an engineer in the Design & Test Group. In 2001, they joined Marconi as a design engineer for their Power and Data Services.
After two years with Marconi, Coleman transitioned to the corporate world, joining Kraft Foods Group as a summer associate brand manager. Coleman then spent three years with AT&T, first as a senior manager for their Apple Partnership Operations, and then as a project manager for their iPhone activations platform.
In 2008, Coleman decided to leave the corporate world behind and become an entrepreneur. Coleman joined Boomtown Accelerators as an advisor, where they help startups grow and scale their businesses.
Coleman Oglesbee has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, with a focus in General Management and Marketing. Coleman also has Executive Education from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in Operations Strategy, and completed the SCTE Leadership Institute at Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth. Coleman also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. Coleman is certified in Change Management Practitioner from Prosci and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business.
