Payal Kohli

Payal Kohli is a cardiologist and advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Payal has worked in the medical field for over 12 years, starting as a clinical fellow at UCSF Medical Center. Payal later became a noninvasive cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente and then worked as a heart and vascular institute of Colorado. In their current position, they provide support to startups in the medical technology industry.

Payal Kohli attended Harvard Medical School and received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Payal also pursued a Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Division degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated Magna Cuma Laude. Payal Kohli also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Payal is certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology in Nuclear Cardiology, ARDMS in Vascular Ultrasound, American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases, American Society of Echocardiography in Comprehensive Echocardiography, and American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine.
