Dan Atwill

Dan Atwill serves as the Presiding Commissioner for Boone County Government in Missouri since October 2011, bringing extensive legal experience as a partner and trial attorney at Atwill & Montgomery since January 2000. Prior to this, Dan Atwill practiced law in general practice and personal injury at Knight & Ford Attorneys from June 1976 to December 1999. Dan Atwill also served in the US Air Force as part of the Judge Advocate Corps from June 1972 to June 1976, focusing on military justice. Dan Atwill earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law (1969-1971) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution (1965-1969).
