Nikki Heidemann BS, MLS(ASCP)CM has a strong background in laboratory work. Nikki started their career as a Laboratory Technician at ADM in 2005 and then moved to Valero Energy Corporation in 2007, where they served as a Laboratory Technician until 2012. In 2012, Nikki joined Boone County Health Center as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and held that role until August 2021. At Boone County Health Center, they also took on additional responsibilities, including serving as a Clinic Laboratory Director, Technical Consultant, and Point of Care Coordinator.

Nikki Heidemann has a strong educational background in the field of clinical laboratory science and biology. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Wayne State College. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Norfolk Senior High School from 1996 to 2000. Nikki further advanced their knowledge by pursuing a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from ASCP BOC in May 2023.
