Raymond's practice focused on defending business clients, municipalities, and individuals in a variety of areas, including employment law, workplace liability, consumer credit and protection, motor vehicle accident defense, trucking, deliberate intent law, and commercial/general litigation.

Before that, Raymond was a Summer Associate at Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC in May 2015 to August 2015.

Raymond got their start in politics as a Herndon Fellow, House of Delegates Minority Intern at the West Virginia Legislature from January 2013 to April 2013. As a Herndon Fellow, they were selected as one of ten students from a state-wide application process to engage in and develop an understanding of the politics of legislation, legislative research and research materials, bill drafting, the role and function of legislative committees, constitutional restraints on the legislature, legislative rules, constituent services, and executive/legislative liaison and relationships.
