Gaute Halvorsen

Gaute Halvorsen has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Junior Developer at Infosons, where they primarily used Python and PostgreSQL to create modules for the Odoo CRM. During this time, they successfully built a portal for sales and accounting, as well as a tool for medical image visualization.

In 2017, Gaute joined Alder AS as an R&D Engineer. Their main focus was on full stack development, using JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJs, AngularJs, Angular6, Ionic, and NestJs. Gaute was responsible for backend development and contributed to the creation of a socket communication protocol for bi-directional communication between the backend and frontend.

Currently, Gaute is working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at boost.ai since 2020.

Gaute Halvorsen has a strong educational background in the fields of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, as well as Physics and Applied Mathematics. Gaute obtained a Master's Degree in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence from Sapienza Università di Roma, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2006 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Gaute Halvorsen has also pursued various certifications. Gaute obtained the AWS Fundamentals Specialization, Data Engineering with Google Cloud Specialization, Practical Reinforcement Learning (with Honors), and Introduction to Deep Learning certifications, all through Coursera. These certifications were obtained in June 2020 and May 2020, respectively. Furthermore, in October 2016, Gaute Halvorsen earned the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
