Lucille Wespi is currently pursuing a Master Thesis at AO Research Institute Davos (ARI) in the Progenitor Cell Biology and Mechanoregulation focus area within the Regenerative Orthopaedics group, investigating mineralocorticoid receptor activation in glucocorticoid-induced osteogenesis, a project supported by the AO Foundation Fellowship. Prior experience includes a research internship at Kinderspital Zürich in the Tissue Biology Research Unit, where the establishment and characterization of a functional fat microtissue was conducted, and a semester project at ETH Zürich focused on the optimization and processing of the osteoarthritic fat pad for histology. Additionally, Lucille served as a student assistant at Universitätsspital Zürich from January 2019 to December 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering - Molecular Bioengineering from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Technology from the same institution, following a Matura from Kantonsschule Alpenquai Luzern.
