Bruno Tostes

Bruno Tostes is a software engineer with experience in backend development, teaching, and co-founding. In 2021, they began working as a Backend Software Engineer at Boostr, where they develop scalable solutions for the Order Management System, integrating APIs, maintaining the central database, debugging and investigating issues, providing release support, and performing new client onboarding migrations. Bruno uses the tech stack of Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Capybara, and GCP. From 2019-2021, they worked as a Full-Stack Development Teacher at Le Wagon, where they taught and mentored students in the basics of web development through a hands-on approach. The tech stack they used included Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, Javascript, PostgreSQL and Heroku. From 2018-2019, they were the Co-Founder of Save Whey, where they developed and drove mobile applications that surpassed 200,000 downloads in Google Play and the Apple Store, with ratings of 4.6 and 4.7 respectively on each platform.

Bruno Tostes completed a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2007 to 2014. Bruno then studied Economia e Gestão Empresarial at Universidad de Salamanca from 2011 to 2012. In 2018, they completed a Master in Marketing & Comunicação Digital at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, and in 2019 they completed a Full-Stack Web Developer Bootcamp at Le Wagon. In 2021, they obtained a Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google.
