Ian Baldwin

Ian Baldwin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ian currently serves as the Co-Founder of Booth AI since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Perception Lead at Xwing from June 2021 to July 2022. Before Xwing, they worked as a Technical Leader - Data Science at NASA Ames Research Center from April 2020 to June 2021. Ian also co-founded Moss in June 2019 and held the role until May 2020. Ian served as the Computer Vision Lead at Point One Navigation from January 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Zippy.ai from April 2017 to January 2018. Ian gained experience as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Zoox from June 2016 to April 2017 and from January 2016 to June 2016, respectively. Ian started their career as a Research Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from January 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, Ian worked as an Applications Engineer at Automated Reasoning from March 2007 to September 2007.

Ian Baldwin's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the University of Cape Town for their Bachelor of Science degree in Electromechanical Engineering. Ian completed their undergraduate studies in 2004.
