David Donnachie has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. David started their career as a Technical Support/Software Developer at InteCS, where they assisted in the development of CALM software and was responsible for upgrading and maintaining office PCs. David then moved on to become a Software Developer/Technical Support at InteCS/Diamond Business Solutions, where they developed new software packages and migrated existing software systems. David also worked as an Information Analyst at Sanmina, where they generated and distributed reports using various software tools. David later joined AIMs West Glasgow as an IT Technician, where they assessed and transferred office networks, upgraded cabling, and provided call-out support. David then worked at Booth Welsh as an IT Helpdesk Technician, providing frontline hardware and software support. David later transitioned to the role of Systems Support, developing in-house applications and providing reporting solutions. David eventually became the Information Technology Lead at Booth Welsh, dealing with server and desktop IT infrastructure, database development and maintenance, desktop software support, and IP telephony support. Throughout their career, David has gained expertise in various software tools and has a strong background in technical support and software development.

David Donnachie attended St Andrews Academy in Saltcoats from 1985 to 2000. David then pursued a field of study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kilmarnock College from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, they studied Computing at Ayr College from 1994 to 1996. David also obtained certifications in Windows 2000 MCP from Microsoft in 2003 and A+ from Comptia in the same year.
