Charles de Sanno

Charles De Sanno is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in health information technology and systems engineering. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton since January 2017, De Sanno leads the health practice, overseeing business management, systems engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, digital development, and service delivery. In addition to this role, De Sanno has been the President of AFCEA International since October 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Leidos for Systems Made Simple, managing a $1.2 billion portfolio for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and holding the position of Senior Vice President at Lockheed Martin. De Sanno began a career in public service at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where Charles served as Executive Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering from April 1989 to September 2014.
