Ali Nezhad

Ali Nezhad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, innovation, and construction management. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainability and Innovation at Boral since December 2019, Ali has held several leadership roles, including Head of Innovation & Technology and General Manager - Innovation. In academia, Ali contributes as an adjunct Professor and Associate Professor at UNSW and has previously held an Associate Professor position at the University of Sydney, where responsibilities included overseeing the Construction Management Discipline and engaging in external committee initiatives. With a solid engineering background, Ali also gained experience as an Engineer at the Housing and Development Board of Singapore and worked as a Researcher in Concrete Technology at the National University of Singapore. Ali holds a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
