Amir Salehipour

Amir Salehipour, PhD, is a data scientist at Boral since July 2021, specializing in the development and implementation of machine learning techniques within quantitative finance research. Prior to this role, Amir served as an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney, focusing on optimization and algorithms. Amir has substantial experience as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Newcastle, working on projects related to coal supply chain and transportation solutions. Earlier career highlights include consulting as a senior analyst in process modeling and healthcare supply chain logistics, and conducting professional training workshops on system design and process re-optimization. Amir's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Newcastle and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, complemented by a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Azad University - Tehran South.
