Francis Chartrand is an accomplished electrical engineer and executive with extensive experience in project delivery and engineering across North America. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Project Delivery at Boralex Inc., since November 2025, Francis previously held various senior leadership roles at EDF Power Solutions North America from July 2010 to October 2025, including Vice President of Technical Solutions Canada and Vice President of Offshore Engineering and Interconnection. Additional experience includes positions as Technical Director at Mid-Atlantic Offshore Development and Interconnection and Electrical Package Manager at Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind. Francis's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from École de Technologie Supérieure, complemented by a Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management from Harvard Business School Online.
