Ozgur Savas

Ozgur Savas has a strong background in the steel industry, with extensive experience in sales and management roles. OZGUR started their career at Borçelik in 2003 as an Automotive Sector Sales Representative, where they were responsible for sales in the automotive industry. In 2007, they were promoted to Automotive Sector Sales Manager and continued to excel in this role until 2010. OZGUR then joined Borusan Holding as the Market Development and Purchasing Manager, where they played a key role in developing the market and managing purchasing activities. In 2012, they were promoted to Steel Service Center Manager, overseeing the operations of the center. In 2015, they joined Borçelik again, this time as the Director of Sales, responsible for the country sales of Borçelik Steel Service Center with an annual turnover of 700 MUSD. Ozgur Savas has a diverse education background. OZGUR attended Ankara Ataturk Anadolu Lisesi from 1991 to 1998 for their high school education. Following this, they enrolled at TED Ankara Koleji for their pre-university education, completing it from 1986 to 1991. In 1998, Ozgur Savas joined Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi, also known as the Middle East Technical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Material and Metallurgical Engineering. OZGUR successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2002. Later, from 2002 onwards, they continued their studies at the same institution, enrolling in a Master of Science program in Metallurgical and Material Engineering. The end year for their master's program is unspecified. In 2008, Ozgur Savas attended Sabanci University, specifically the Leadership Faculty at Borusan Academy, where they obtained a degree in Education. OZGUR completed this program in 2011.
