Deirdre Ryan

Deirdre Ryan is an accomplished professional in sustainability and quality assurance, currently serving as a Board Member at Sport Ireland and as Director of Sustainability & Quality Assurance for the Origin Green program at Bord Bia since February 2020. With a background that includes leadership roles at Lidl Ireland, Ornua, and experience as an Origin Green Ambassador, Deirdre has effectively promoted sustainable practices within the food industry. Deirdre is also a former elite athlete, having represented Ireland in high jump at the London 2012 Olympics, and holds several advanced degrees in business sustainability and international business from prestigious institutions, including UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and Università Bocconi.
