Janet Humphreys

Janet Humphreys has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Janet is currently working as the Head of Information Technology at Bord Iascaigh Mhara - Ireland's Seafood Development Agency since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Country Director at iMMAP from 2022 to 2023.

From 2014 to 2021, they held multiple roles at GOAL Global, including Chief Technology officer with Business Development/Director of Corporate services and technology, Head of Group Services, Regional Finance Director, Management Systems Advisor, and Operations Advisor. During their time at GOAL Global, they played a crucial role in managing various functions and designing global strategies to strengthen the organization's framework.

Before joining GOAL Global, Janet worked at Save the Children UK as an ERP Senior Operations Support Finance and Grant from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they worked at GOAL Global from 2005 to 2012, serving as a Roving Finance Coordinator and later as a Financial Controller.

Janet's earlier experience includes working at Xerox as a Treasury Operations Manager from 2001 to 2006 and as a Finance Analyst from 1996 to 2001.

Janet Humphreys has a diverse education history. In 1993, they attended Durham University and pursued a degree in Economics, which they completed in 1996. Janet then enrolled in The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and became an Associate Chartered Management Accountant from 1996 to 1999. In 2005, they joined the Association of Corporate Treasurers and obtained the title of Associate member of Corporate Treasurers in 2006. Continuing their education, in 2007, Janet pursued a Masters in International Development from The Open University, which they completed in 2012. In 2018, they attended the Irish Management Institute and completed the Senior Executive Program in Business Administration and Management, General. Lastly, in 2022, they obtained an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management.
