Jeanne Gallagher

Jeanne Gallagher, PhD, currently serves as the Green Programme Co-ordinator at Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland's Seafood Development Agency, a role held since April 2019. Previously, Jeanne held various technical and project management positions within the agency and contributed to marine research at University College Dublin (UCD) from September 2015 to December 2018, focusing on the genetic structure of the Dublin Bay Prawn for sustainability purposes. Jeanne's experience includes research positions with the Marine Institute, involvement in marine surveys, and a strong academic background with a PhD in Marine Biology and a BSc in Zoology, awarded First Class Honours. Additional early career experience includes administrative work at Global Medics and comprehensive training in media and marketing.
