The Boston Globe
Anna Kuchment is The Boston Globe's Medical and Biotechnology editor. Prior to joining the Globe, she was a reporter at Newsweek magazine, a senior editor at Scientific American and a science enterprise reporter at The Dallas Morning News. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia University and is a 2021-2022 KSJ Project Fellow at MIT. After many years away, she is thrilled to return to her hometown, where she grew up in Allston and Cambridge after her family immigrated from the former Soviet Union.
