Daylen Johnson

Daylen Johnson is an experienced maritime professional with a background in marine transportation, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Currently serving as a Mate/DPO at Bordelon Marine since November 2022, Daylen has also held positions at the International Organization of Masters, Mates, & Pilots as a Third Mate since July 2021, and at Jackson Offshore Operators LLC as a Mate/DPO from October 2021 to November 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Third Mate at Great Eastern Group, Inc, and as a Deckhand at American Commercial Barge Line, where responsibilities included mooring and unmooring barges. Daylen's early career included internships and cadet positions with E.N. Bisso & Son and Military Sealift Command, where exposure to various maritime operations was gained.
