Michael Shafarenko

Michael Shafarenko is a legal professional specializing in corporate and securities law. Currently serving as an Associate in the Corporate and Capital Markets group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP since May 2024, Michael previously worked at Cozen O'Connor as an Associate from February 2023 to April 2024, following a lateral move of the entire Securities group. Prior to this, Michael was an Associate at Minden Gross LLP from September 2021 to January 2023 and gained initial experience as an Articling Student at McMillan LLP from September 2020 to May 2021 and as a Summer Student from May 2019 to August 2019. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Western University.
