David Charlesworth

David Charlesworth has extensive experience in the logistics and transportation industry. David currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Border Express Pty Ltd since November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Executive General Manager Transformation at the same company from April 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Border Express, David worked at TNT Australia for many years. Their roles at TNT include Director of Strategy and Transformation from July 2016 to April 2021, Director - Customer Experience and Demand from November 2014 to July 2016, and Regional Director - NSW/ACT from March 2007 to November 2014. In the Regional Director role, they led a significant regional team responsible for achieving profit and loss expectations in a multi-site operation with a large workforce.

Prior to TNT, David worked at TNT as the General Manager - Sydney Road Operations from March 2004 to March 2007. David had a significant business improvement agenda and focused on improving employee relationships, operational design, service outcomes, and customer-facing processes.

David began their career at McPhee Distribution and Logistics, where they served as the State Manager - NSW from April 2001 to March 2004.
