Jason Thorley has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Jason most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Border Express Pty Ltd starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AMA Group Ltd as the General Manager Finance Non Drive & Heavy from October 2021 to September 2022. Jason also held the position of Chief Financial Officer - Supply Division at ACM Parts from September 2018 to October 2021. Jason has a long history with General Motors, where they held various roles including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Finance Manager, Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, and Finance Manufacturing Manager - Engine Operations, spanning from 2008 to 2018. Before joining GM, Jason worked at GM Asia Pacific as the Asia Pacific Regional Operations Analysis Manager from 2005 to 2008. Jason started their career at General Motors in 1992, where they held various finance roles until 2005.
Jason Thorley obtained their High School Certificate (HSC) from Buckley Park Secondary College. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Business Accounting degree from Victoria University, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, they became a Certified Practising Accountant after completing their studies at CPA Australia from 2001 to 2003.
