Thomas Nelson

Thomas Nelson serves as the Corporate Communications Director at Border States since May 2013, where responsibilities encompass public relations, government relations, marketing communication, and internal communications. Previously, Nelson was the State Director for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Dakota from January 2011 to January 2013, managing congressional offices and coordinating with various entities on state and federal issues. From January 2010 to January 2011, Nelson held the position of Communications Director for the Berg For Congress campaign, acting as spokesperson and building media relationships. Additionally, Nelson served as the Assistant to the House Majority Leader in the North Dakota House of Representatives from January 2001 to January 2009 and was the Owner/Manager of Tri Nelson Farms from 1990 to 1997.
